I met my sister and niece in Williamsburg today and I was surprised that the leaves are still beautiful on Interstate 64E and in Williamsburg. We had such a fun day! We did a little shopping, lots of talking and had a delightful lunch at the Cracker Barrel. My niece and I split their new fall dessert called Pumpkin Custard with Gingersnap Crumbs. It was over the top! My niece described it as "Thanksgiving in a spoon." You might want to try it!
Very pretty leaves there! Very showy!
ReplyDeleteOh how I do love Williamsburg in the Fall. Lucky girl you are! Have you ever been for the grand illumination? I've always wanted to do that.
ReplyDeleteOne day...

I wish I could see Williamsburg again! And the foliage looks beautiful. Since I seem to love just about everything pumpkin I'll have to get to Cracker Barrel!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Sharon. Wish Tag and I were there to "waltz" up Duke of Gloucester Street with you and Arabelle. Looking forward to next year already!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall, my friend.
