Monument Avenue is one of the most historic and beautiful sections of Richmond. Hope you enjoy these pictures my friend and I took there this morning.
And last, a little whimsy is added to the area by the owner of this antique Cadillac. Each year he decorates and stuffs it full of Santas, Sponge Bob, toys, decorations, etc.
Oh, my, I guess I'm not over Christmas yet, because I LOVE those pictures... the ornaments on the one door and over the transom... my goodness! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am a nut for a historical plaque. Those doorways are just beautiful, I even like the cadillac. Life is too short to be too serious. You are right -- my all time favorite is your header photo.
ReplyDeleteOh Sharon, what a beautiful place! I've not spent any time around Richmond and I can see that I need too! It really reminds me of what I love most about the south and Virginia!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing well--

ReplyDeleteI loved these pictures. It is so great of you to share them with us. A part of our country that I probably won't get to see.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
And my cousin loved, loved, loved the salt shaker!
I mean loved it!
