Happy first day of spring! I celebrated by putting Miss Lily (my garden lady) out in the daffodils. She's wearing my niece's dress and a beautiful little jacket from last year. She wasn't thrilled about wearing the same jacket again but I didn't find another to match her dress.
For those of you who are new to my blog, Lily is a flat board lady who gets a new outfit about once a month. I buy her clothes at yard sales and thrift shops and have so much fun making her look beautiful.
Hope you've had a wonderful spring day!
OH Lily is beautiful..I may have to make my own lily...what a fun idea!!! Love that you dress her in thrift store clothes!! Makes me smile!

Visiting your blog is like going back to a gentler, kinder time and place. I've been sick for a month, but am finally getting better. But that's why I haven't been by for a while.
ReplyDeleteLily looks wonderful. She looks like a beautiful flower herself. Happy spring to you also.

Lily is a PERFECT breath of spring!!! She really looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon! Lily's a hoot! She's gorgeous and your garden is so much further along than mine! I absolutely L-O-V-E your 2 black kitties on your good chair (a few posts back)... As you may have seen from my sidebar, I'm very partial to black kitties :) Yours remind me so much of My Boy and My Girl. Have a wonderful spring!!... Donna
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring, Lily.
ReplyDeleteSo lucky that you have girls, Sharon. I fear that Tag would have to say "hello" in his own unique way if he saw Miss Lily standing in his yard! lol
Have a great day!
Hugs to you and the girls.

Love the outfit. If I lived closer I would ask which thrift shop you got the outfit from. Lily looks much better dressed than me at the moment!! I'm going to have to get my wardrobe sorted. Have a great evening

So cute! Great idea! Does she hold up well in the rain? Or is that why she gets a new dress each month?
ReplyDeleteLily looks great! She looks like she's ready for Easter. Love your yard...and so many trees!
ReplyDeleteLove Lily! Lovely blog, I'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Anne ♥♥
