Spring Cleaning My Dollhouse and A Recent Puppy Picture

Last weekend when everyone else was watching the Super Bowl, I decided to do some much-needed spring cleaning in my dollhouse. I removed all the furnishings and applied three coats of satin polyurethane to the wood floors and cedar shingles.

The kitchen is now decorated for Easter and all the eye dying supplies are on the table.  Of course, it's helpful to have corgi supervision.

There's kitty mischief going on in the bathroom.  Do you see the one playing in the toilet?  I'm not sure if this corgi is an innocent bystander  or part of the mischief.

I had fun rearranging the nursery.  All the tiny dolls and toys are so cute.

And, I just had to share this recent picture of my beautiful, blue-eyed puppy, Perl.  I'll be picking her up on February 24.

  5. My goal is to work on my dollhouse this year. I started it in 1980. I had the outside finished and then my son's cat decided to climb on the roof and chew some of the trim. The inside is 10% finished. Every five or ten years I work on it. It's time to get it finished. Thank you for the motivating pictures!
