Introducing Sweet Bonnie and a Five Year Anniversary Giveaway

A few weeks we welcomed Bonnie to our family. She is a two year old brindle Cardigan corgi. I wasn't looking for another corgi but things just seemed to happen and before I knew it she was my new bed partner.  She is a perfect addition to our family! She loves Perl and they have so much fun playing together.  That relieves me and Miss Heidi (two old ladies) of the responsibility of entertaining Perl all day.

We love her!

This month is the fifth anniversary of my blog.  So, it's time to have a giveaway.  To enter, simply follow my blog and leave a comment on this post before September 1 telling me a little about your favorite things.  The prize will be customized for the winner and I promise you'll like it!

My old shoes have thrived this summer because of all the rain.  The moss voluntarily came up on them and there's even a maple tree growing out of the one on the left.

  1. Yay! Perl has her very own dog! :) Congratulations to you all on a 5 year blogaversary! Wishing you many more. No need to enter me in the giveaway. I am still in temporary quarters for a few months before our house is done and I don't have any room. Hugs!

  5. Such sweet puppies! Came over to say "Hello friend" from the Take Peace group. I love dark chocolate, cats and crafting - pretty much of any sort. Right now I enjoy making bookmarks of velvet ribbon and old dangly earrings.

  6. Sharon, I love all your miniature gardens! The one in your header with the Corgi is wonderful. I will have to look for one in the shape of a Westie. Corgi's are cute, but I think Westie's are even better! :-) But I will say, I love how Corgi's always seem to be smiling while Westie's tend to look like they're mad! or sad. Mine does smile, however, when I let him outside to run off leash. Then his smile warms my heart to no end. Bonnie looks like she's found a wonderful forever home.

  12. Hi, Sharon! Besides sharing same first names and a common interest in Take Peace and all things Tasha, I too am retired, love living near my family, enjoy fairy gardening (those boots are fantastic!), playing with my 1:12 scale log dollhouse, reading blogs, and thrifting! I've never seen a real live corgi, but they surely are the cutest little things - though I am partial to my Siamese cat. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog; congratulations on five years! I appreciate the time and effort it takes to post.
