Tasha Tudor and Nantucket Bed and Breakfast Dollhouse

For those of you who loved Tasha Tudor, yesterday was her 95th birthday.  She passed away in 2008 at the age of 93.  She was a wonderful artist who illustrated children's books, an avid gardener, and a fellow corgi lover.  Almost all of her cards and books include pictures of her beloved corgi.  If you are not familiar with her, do an internet search and look at some of her lovely work.
Nantucket Bed and Breakfast

The Nantucket Bed and Breakfast is a small dollhouse I found in an antique shop in Clemson, SC, a few years back.  It was a mess! After hours of hard work, I decided it would be a perfect little bed and breakfast. I love Nantucket Island so it became the Nantucket B and B.  My oldest daughter brought me the tiny basket in the bathroom 28 years ago when she vacationed on the island with her best friend and family.

  3. I found a large old one at a flea market and it isn't in the best of shape so you give me hope. Thanks for posting. I celebrated Tasha's birthday with 4 lovely friends over lunch and cake and tea. We even sang Happy Birthday to dear Tasha. We love Tasha's gardening and it inspires us on a regular basis.
