OWN

Has anyone else been watching Oprah's new network?  Yesterday I was a little under the weather so I decided to watch TV instead of putting my Christmas decorations away.  I was impressed.  There seems to be an abundance of commercials, but no more than the other channels.  I think it is going to be a welcome change from regular daytime TV.  It will be interesting to see  what new shows she will add.

  1. No, I don't watch much commercial TV simply because I get no reception LOL

I've been using Netflix and I enjoy GPB/PBS and that's about it. Maybe one day I'll break down and subscribe to dish or cable, but right now all I can afford is the rabbit ears and that doesn't get me a very good reception.

  2. We don't get it on our Dish. Besides, I don't watch enough to warrant upping my subscription.

Glad that you enjoy it though!

  3. I watched 2 shows, I was surprised at what a tough boss Oprah is. Thank you for entering my giveaway for the mosaic shoe. The train did stop in Ashland, what a cute town!

  4. I did notice that they have added it to my satellite but I haven't looked at it. I didn't watch her show that much either.

    Have a Great Day!

  6. Hi Sharon, I was only able to catch about 15 minutes of the network yesterday but it looked interesting. I hope you are feeling better.

  7. I watched Anna (maybe not Anna) and Christina's Grocery Bag today. They were cooking from certain cooking books for chef of that particular cuisine. It was funny. I'm not a particularly great cook. So it was funny (painful) to see them struggle with the various recipes. The French chef was not so pleased, but the Indian chefs were impressed. Two different 1/2 hours in the 3:00 o'clock hour for me. Then I started Christina Ferrari's show (Christina's Big Bowl of Love), but couldn't finish it. It looks very good and she is a wonderful cook and very funny as well. Glad to get those decorations put away I bet. A pat for the puppies. One for each! Nancy
