Every minute of this past week was so wonderful for me! My niece came to visit for a few days and we had so much catching up to do. She's been the primary caregiver for my elderly brother-in-law who passed a few weeks ago for about five years. Her mom died about 12 years ago.
I took her to all my favorite consignment shops and favorite restaurants. We spent hours on my front porch just chatting and working on some wreaths she was helping me make. She's very artistic!
I wanted to share these pictures of things blooming in my yard right now. I love this time of year.

ReplyDeleteI lived in Atlanta for awhile and had the pleasure of living in a neighborhood full of the flowers in your post. Even the mailbox reminded me of the one we had. And day lilies - I thought day lilies only came in orange. What pretty photos you shared with us. Thank you.
